Dan became interested in photography at the age of twelve, freelancing for local newspapers as a teenager. He studied TV production and photojournalism in college, while working as a darkroom technician at the Boston Globe. He is the senior staff photographer at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

His prize winning photography has been published in newspapers, websites and magazines around the world.

Dan is the publisher and managing editor of “On The Trails With SAM”. He was instrumental in the creation and design of the magazine and handles the day-to-day management.

Graphic design was a natural outgrowth of modern digital imaging, which has allowed Dan to expand his visual talents.

A Boston native, Dan lives in Central Massachusetts with his wife Patty and two sons, Danny & Brent.
